I first picked up watercolors in 2018 without realizing how much they would become a part of my life. At first, I was just curious about the softness of the medium and the way the colors seemed to have a mind of their own. Like many beginners, I could follow tutorials, but whenever I tried to paint on my own, I felt stuck.
With time, practice, and a lot of experimenting, things started to shift. Painting became more than just learning techniques. It turned into something relaxing, almost like a meditation. Along the way I began to find my style in watercolor: dreamy, cozy, and inspired by nature.
Now I get to share that process with others, and it makes me so happy that my paintings and courses have reached thousands of students around the world.
What I love most about teaching watercolor is watching students realize: you don’t need talent to make art, you need a process and the freedom to play.

At the same time, watercolor isn’t just about technique. For me, it’s a soothing, almost meditative practice. Many of my students tell me my classes feel calming and relaxing, like a creative pause in the middle of a busy day. That’s just as important as the skills you’ll learn: finding joy and peace in the process.
When I’m not painting, I’m usually curled up with a good book. I love fantasy, historical fiction, and the kind of stories that transport you elsewhere. At home, I share life with my husband and our rescue dog, Alexis, who brings as much joy and chaos as watercolor sometimes does.
